I’ve been wanting to scratch the content itch since I left radio back in January and with the start of the Jaguars season, what better way to debut my transition from broadcasting back into the fan lifestyle than with a new show!
It just took a little longer than I expected.
I’ve been broadcasting on local radio and turning that show into a commercial-free podcast since 2014. So when it came time to do it on my own–I was stuck.
While I’ve been doing YouTube videos for years and turning those into their own podcast format, I had yet to create my own show where I have segments, topics, ideas, and opinions. Then the crippling anxiety-filled questions started to take over…
Can I carry a show by myself?
Would people get bored with it and immediately unsubscribe?
How will my sports/entertainment audience I’ve built up since 2007 react to a business-focused podcast?
After months of putting it on the back burner and a little help from CBD to calm the nerves, I shut out the inner voices that said I couldn’t do it. Easier said than done–I know.
But in the end, I resulted back to what I know how to do best–by being authentically me.
I digest a shit load of content and I’m just as confident talking marketing/websites as I am dunking on the Jalen Ramsey haters. Therefore I shouldn’t have this much anxiety about things I authentically care about. It’s who I am and if I can project that in a new show, then I can get those reps under my belt and continue to get better with every episode.
Because I’m the type of person that’s really a curious problem solver, I’m hoping to provide a resource into what it’s REALLY like being an entrepreneur and not just what motivational Instagram quotes tell you.
This show is by no means perfect but I’m committed to showing the fellow hustlers out there that sometimes the leap of faith is the best route to take. Especially when ~waits for the motivational quote~ you find yourself letting the fear of perfection hold you back.
Not anymore.

‘The Scouting Report’ Show Description
In a brand new show, I dive into my first episode of what Bonjour with Blythe is supposed to be about: the wins, losses, and lifestyle around being a present-day entrepreneur.
Contrary to popular belief, freelancing and entrepreneurialism are not all working out of coffee shops and taking insta-friendly vacations. There are real challenges (and tears!) involved with running your own business. But there are also a lot of perks; which I hope to share both sides of the coin in this monthly Scouting Report show.
Don’t worry–if you’ve liked the content I’ve done over the last nine months, that’s not going anywhere and will continue to be published on this feed. I simply needed a place dedicated to a business/marketing focused show where I write, record, and publish all myself. I’ll also mix in a few Jaguars related topics (read: gripes) here and there too because a girl needs a creative outlet that doesn’t involve hair, makeup, and getting your nails done.
